Yeah, one of reasons a fellow owner from here is good choice for inspect. If we do spot something that needs attention, we'll collectively know what's involved in correcting, or if its a show stopper.

Remove risk of skipping over a good car for trivial reasons.

 

I think getting someone here to check out a car is a good idea, but me personally, I would not put up all that cash without a personal inspection. But someone looking prior for you could eliminate a bunch of wasted time on your part. When I went looking it was road trip time, part of the fun and adventure! We went to Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, and multiple trips to North and South Carolina over a period of several months. Learned a ton about the car in these adventures which was invaluable in my purchase decision. Features I liked and wanted, AP1 vs AP2, colors, yada yada yada.. I much prefer the AP2 and that is what we bought but to each their own.
