I went to a huge car meet at a place called Bald Hill in New York on Long Island
They must have had around 600 to 1000 cars at the meet. All different types from Lams to Vipers to 1955 Vettes and Chevy's a great meet. I could not believe I was the ONLY ONE with a S2000!!!! There was a Honda dealer there that had one for show but I was the only one that was owned!!eek3: I was really Happy people did not know what the hell it was?!?! These cars are so unique it would be great if they stopped making them and that value would go thru the roof like the Supra's. I just wanted to say it is great to have something that not every guy has!

 

What town is Blad Hill in? And how'd you find out about the meet? I'd love to go next time if it's anywhere near syosset.

 

Bald Hill is in a little town called Farmingville out on the Island. Take the LIE to exit 63 North (Noth Ocean Ave.? 63 for sure...) about 1.5 miles from the LIE you will climb Bald Hill. There is a spire w/an american flag wrapped around it at the apex. It is a Viet Vet's Memorial.
Follow the signs to Bald Hill. It is actually a little West of the memorial (exit to the right I believe.)
I grew up in Ridge, exit 68 on the LIE. I miss the toporgaphy, the seasons, my famil & friends but not the weather overall!!
Down here in Broward/Dade for the last 11 years, 99.5% of the time top down driving!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Schwing!! And Waveruning year round, gotta love it!!! However, Long Island in the summer .......................................... to die for!!!!!!!!!!!!

Better get down there tomorrow , it is going to be near 90 and there will be 1000 Hot Rods!!! It cost $4 to get in and it is by far the BEST show including all the Hot Rod shows at the Nassau Collii. or Jacob Javits. Always on Tuesday not when raining,Come down or I will be the only S2000 there again!!
