So a lot of people keep saying that the S2k is perfect stock. I love to modify, so it doesn't matter if its a Ferrari I just can't leave it stock.

I firmly believe in Kaizen, constant improvement of the car no matter what detail or aspect of it, hp to handling to downforce.

From engine to suspension and bumper to bumper what are some of your opinions?

I am mostly stock (AEM CAI only) and I see no NEED to modify it.

I might someday just for more power, but only because I think it'd be fun to do as this is my first car worth doing it to.

I think it's fine as is. I still get a kick out of driving it and enjoy it on the twisty roads which is where it's meant to be. Being modded wont change that.

I love the car.

But as RedMX5 has said before: with some modifications, now it's perfect for ME!

Supercharger
Better stereo
Ipod hookup
Heated seat
Sticky, oversized tires

NOW it's pretty dang close to perfect (for me).

Just got mine recently, and I'm loving it as is. It's my daily driver, and I'm not a power junky. I could see getting different tires, but the suspension is fine as is (when I take it to a track, and I will, the stock is good enough to have fun, I know I won't be beating anyone with mods, but I'll be having fun).

I firmly believe that the people over at Honda of Japan are more worried about Kaizen then I ever will be. I've always driven stock Hondas because I don't think anything I could ever do would be better than the way it rolled off the boat from Sayama, Suzuka, or wherever my cars with JHM VINs come from. But that is just my personal opinion.

I think it doesn't matter if it's fresh off the truck or built out of a hundred aftermarket parts... if you have fun and enjoy your car, that's all that really matters.

the car is fantastic...but for me:
I think it should of had at least 20 more horspower. It should trap at least 103ish quarter mile.
225 front 255 rear tires.
Better audio system.
Actually be able to hear the engine.
Better engineering on heat management (vented hood).
I will be correcting the above shortcomings.

When it comes to any product of engineering design, there is never such a thing as perfect. There are always tradeoffs to be made for cost and other similar issues.

And for any non-custom product, there are always possible changes that could be made to customize it just for your needs.

from stock it didn't really NEED anything except for a better stereo.
Exhaust, intake and such would've been done no matter what car it was LOL.
