JDM S2000, a good alignment man checks more than just the cars alignment; He drives the car and notes any "issues." Then, if he's good, he diagnoses the problem and suggests a fix. That's why I suggested you go back to them and explain the problem you're having. However, after seeing your alignment sheet I'm not so sure that's a good idea. I'm no alignment expert - in fact, I don't even know if your specs are off enough to cause any problems, but if my alignment specs turned out to be as far off as yours are, I'd be taking the car back and making them do it over again. My alignment guy uses a Hunter system, and always gets my alignment dead on the preferred specs (or specs I specify). Your specs are within tolerance (if I'm reading the sheet correctly), so they may well be OK, but I have learned to expect much greater alignment accuracy.

Also, if I have my car aligned, and it pulls afterward, I expect the alignment guy to tell me that it's pulling, and explain why. Otherwise I'm going to think that he got the alignment wrong.

Apparently your alignment guy didn't drive the car after aligning it, or didn't notice that it was pulling, or perhaps he just didn't care, but for whatever reason, he didn't do his job (which is to make the car drive properly), so you need to get a new man. So do the shops that are using the guy, but that's not your problem.

The problem with where I took it is that they dont guarantee anything that has modified suspension. I in fact have Eibach pro kits, but before I installed them the car was doing the exact same thing.

I am going back there to see whats up, but I would think that considering they align racing NSXs, S2000s and more they would know what they are doing.

They must have test driven it for at least 5 miles because there was that many more on it.

I should have mentioned this earlier. Sometimes(very few though) if i take my hands off the steering wheel, the car will go completely straight for a long time.

How about when the center of the steering wheel is pointed at 6 o'clock does the car go straight?

I have a Pro Kit on my car too, but the Ford dealership where my alignment guy works doesn't have any heartburn about guarenteeing their alignment work. I think if I were you I'd try to find a different shop. You might try asking about quality alignment shops in your regional forum.

The pulling may not actually be caused by the alignment (could be tires or something else), but a good alignment man should be able to sort it out for you.

Keep us posted.

Yea, I'm no expert, but it looks like a pretty sloppy alignment job to me too.

Funny cuz I took my car to get the alignment done over here at Turbo (recommended by board members) and the guy was showing me the charts. Thing is that he couldn't get everything in the green, but the car will be fine (machine is really sensitive, if you turn one lug nut 90 degrees on one of the wheels, it'll throw the whole thing off). Anyway, he also mentioned that a number of S2000s seem to have that as well. My car also tracks to the right, and after i got the alignment done, it still does, but very little, huge improvement. I think perhaps something might be bent, but tires are wearing fine and handling doesn't seem to be affected (although I'll be the first to admit I'm no expert).

The sensitivity of the alignment machine is normal. If I sit in my car while it's being aligned the readings will jump every time I move (so I have to sit perfectly still or my alignment guy will yell at me ).

We've had a few customers who had their cars aligned at shops that could not achieve the stock specs (especially after lowering), but when we send their cars to Mark he does what the others have called impossible. If the car isn't broken or bent, or lowered excessively, achieving the stock alignment specs is always do-able, IF (and only if) the alignment guy knows his stuff.

Sometimes the first alignment is tough (in that it takes a long time to get it right), but once the car is aligned properly, realignment goes quickly (so I assume it's easier, but like you, I'm no expert ).

I wish Billman would chime in on this, because he *is* an expert.

How much did you lower your car? I am no expert, but it is obvious that the front castor is waaayy off.
