I have seen three destroyed S2ks behind the dealership I bought mine at and the passenger compartments were intact on all three cars. They all looked like they were bulldozed by Mack trucks. One was in an offside frontal collision and the left front of the car was forced under the car and NOT into the passenger compartment. The engine was ripped sideways and stuffed under the floorpan. The entire car might as well be cage. I think I saw a picture in the owners manual or something of the the subframe used. It is amazing. Maybe someone can find it and scan it so you can see it. I definitely feel safe in this car.
