Just seeing if eny one else goes though the same crap. So i went to a car show today and entered my s2000 and im more than lightly modified but not heavy. clean body kit, enkie 18s, aem cai, act clutch kit, invidia cat back 6 speaker kicker system but like i said the cars very clean. i live in north carolina so its mostly mopar and chevys mustangs and the judes dont seem to notice the parts on my car arnit for show they actully work and its a real import. long story short they gave out tropys to stock 2000 model camaro ss, a clean un modified feiro, a mustang with just an intake, and a sentra with a very ugly gray and yellow with green pin strip which looked really bad, he had a plexi glass spoiler.... eny way he beat me. judges never ask a single thing about my car. so i guess im asking has eny one every had this non sense happen and where are the car shows that know what a real import is and not a ricer

I know the lights arnit you guys style but i install hids and led kits for some money on the side and it helps alot to have it on my own car

ya i took the halogens outta the high beams and put an hid kit in them instead. i still have the oem hid headlight in the low beam. in most cases i change out older cars halogens with a brighter 4.3k or 5k which is white. And no around here there not worth it all they know is mopar and american cars they wouldnt car if i had a fart cannon or my whole invidia system. they wouldnt car if your rims are cheap knock offs or if there works they just dont no what there judging

 

 

You coulda had the best car there, but if I saw those underbody lights I woulda gave the trophy to the stock toyota echo.

 

dont worry so much about a trophy....its just cheap plastic
