car veers to right

Default car veers to right
My s2000 seems to veer to the right especially when I am stopping - what is the most likely cause?
The car is a 2003 with 2500 miles on it.

the problem started after I carryed about 600lbs in the trunk

no- I was carrying 14 boxes of slate tiles. Each weighing about 40lbs.
