I am getting the clutch and tranny done. Hopefully they will get it done within the 2 day time span that I am giving them. I got off the highway after traveling for 45 min or so......shift 1----GRRRRINNND--2. I cringed so badly. Luckily they said oh were well aware of this problem and don't have to test drive/show him.

If things get messed up and its not ready.....well looks like I will need to be a passenger with somebody!!!! I severely doubt they will give me a S2000 loaner.

How long did it take for everybody else to get their TSB's done. How many got it back with the steering wheel straight!?

Anything else I should specify while its in there?

Pinky,
How many miles do you have on your car? I know yours is one of the early version (just like mine). So far I have not had any problem.

Good luck with the repairs.

Which shop are you using?

Pinky,
I had my tranny done last fall. It took them less than 24 hours to do the work, but they wanted to keep it a bit longer to let the sealer dry. (liquid gaskets) Then they kept it another day trying to find out why it made so much noise. They didn't have any seat time in the S2K and the noise was normal. Make sure your mechanic knows how it is supposed to sound when he is through.
Just read your post about your door logo. I'd like to shoot people like that. Next time you are top down driving in the sunshine, think of that jerk riding in his smoking, rusting Ford Tempo, with his 400 pound wife next to him yelling at him, and seven kids in the back crying with dirty diapers, and laugh at him. He'll never be where you are in his entire lifetime.

It went into Manchester Honda in CT. I have 29,711 miles on the car.(though a majority of them are highway miles) My rears lasted me like 18,000 miles!!! So there was a limited amount of 1-2 shifts. The clutch still grabbed like tallons I can churp 2nd any time I want! That is mostly due to the Mugen Headers/P-flow TB!

Hopefully they will take their time and do it RIGHT the first time and I will pick it up tomorrow night.

Yes I would like to shoot the person that did that to my car. Not in the head just one in the Knee and one in the hand they used to etch my car!
