I bought the spoon style in fiberglass. Works as advertised. Invest in a dremel to custom fit it.

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure they only have a carbon fibre overlay over a very thin fibreglass construction, hence the price.

If you want something more solid in construction but still very reasonably priced you might also be interested in these (available in a multitude of Honda colours)...

wow those muz products look pretty nice...those look like the spoon ones. Do i have to cut the top of my hood to fit the spoon air duct..because the M style one you have to. The M style one actually takes the stock air box's place, which is pretty nice but the price on ebay is expensive!!! any suggestions?

I have an MY04 prototype here at the moment. It won't be long before I make them available. Just a matter of a test fitting and any final adjustments.

I don't know about the Spoon one but this intake requires no cutting of the hood and is in fact slightly different in dimensions so that there are no bonnet associated problems.

I would get that fake ebay one. Its the same dimensions as the spoon one and a lot cheaper then the spoon and muz one. Its just a air duct, it doesn't need to be bullet proof or anything.

You can get the fiber glass one for $100+$70 SH = $170
Carbon fiber one for $180+$60 SH = $240

The carbon fiber is really just for looks, the weight savings is meanless between the two.

The muz one is nice that it is designed to fit without touching the hood, but its $290+~111 SH so $401 for painted fiber glass.

None of the air ducts require cutting. Only the mugen intake does.
