carbon fiber trunk with wing....
I was wondering how many member on the boards have gone ahead and put any wing on top of there carbon fier trunks. Any problems accuring due to the trunk being carbon, ie. cracking, bending, etc?
Is it possible to run a wing on a carbon trunk withou some kind of reinforment in the trunk to suport the weight of the wing? Looking to do this, but don't want to have my wing fly of the car, or have my trunk begin to crack and break apart due to the weight of the wing, and the force of the wind pushing down onto the trunk.
Your houghts?

Forget the wing...just stick with the carbon trunk...it looks bad ass with that...If you are going to add the wing, i suggest you don't get the carbon trunk...think about it, it the color may look a little off...red wing, carbonfiber trunk, red body...i think it would look off...
actually I'm looking to add the wing for the performence factor. Oh and it'll be cabon trunk wih carbon wing. I know what you mean though by red wing on carbon trunk, I wouldn' like that either. Dam I went to work, came back now, and only 1 reply.
