Default carbon parts

Does anybody know who makes the carbon fenders, doors, and trunk on this spoon S2000? Also, I am looking for some carbon fenders and stuff for my s2k. Anybody know any good brands?
Thanks!

Are you sure that's CF? Looks like it might just have a fine mist on it that has made the paint look dull.

If it is CF, then I would guess it's the Cwest stuff; theirs is the only CF that I've seen with that dull finish to it.

It dosen't just have mist on it cuz the front fenders are shiny. pretty sure it's CF but it could be FRP. It's hard to tell!

Yeah, you're right. Looks like the doors, trunk, and oddly, the rear 1/4's are CF. Like I said, the CWest are the only ones I know of that have that finish. Those are mega $$$.

mooncraft hardtop too

You're almost as well off getting the pieces custom fabricated. PM Seung about his CFfenders. I think he got them from S2000White(??) who had them custom made in Canada by a local fabrication shop. good luck.

p.s. does anyone else note the extremely poor fitment of the window in the hardtop's window frame?

Yah, that fitment looks crappy. But don't forget, that is just the prototype racing version, not the one that will be sold to the public. Hopefully the street version will be better...

One of the places I visited had the cf doors at 8k+ the trunk at 4k+ fenders at 3k+. I don't know the quality but VIS has a good rep. Trunk is 450-650 and the hood is 399. I think they are carbon over fiberglass though. Not sure but looks nice and is still lighter than stock. All the good stuff is blown carbon. Very expensive but very very very very light.

I think you mean dry carbon. It isn't blown. It is created in a mold that is in a heated autoclave. The autoclave sucks out air and makes the resin impregnate in the carbonfiber better so that you don't need as much resin. Hense the lighter weight.

I saw an s2k at this years past SEMA show who had full cf fenders, cf front bumper, cf j's lip.
It was in the Extreme Dimension booth. They told me they would be manufacturing them.

I got my prototype cf Amuse lip from them.
