I don't know about others but when I was in the market for a used truck I had a few Carfaxes done, I was not at all pleased.

Then I ran it on a few vehicles I knew the history of and it came up with just about nothing. One of those nothings was a major accident and repair on one vehicle and a major recall on another. This was about 1 year ago. Beware the data may not be as complete as the advertising makes you think.

IMHO.
