This's in response to Bieg's topic about keeping the s2k stock. Here's my reason, quoted by Bieg himself..."it is my car, my money and I will do what I damn well feel like."...hehehe

Right on, Jimmy, it's yours do do anything to it you want, no matter how stupid it may seem to somebody else.

My case for mods is to optimise an excellent package from the factory.

my case for mods.. even though mine is still stock.

1. makes the car feel more personalized and yours.
2. Ricks console should be stock.
3. nothing wrong w/ modding the car so you can make the eyes of a domestic owner pop outta their head as they see your tail lights.

Modifications allow you to improve areas of the car that don't measure up to your own standards, which may differ from Honda's design goals. Certainly Honda did an excellent job of providing us with a great car right from the factory but to suggest that there aren't areas that can be improved is ridiculous. I haven't done much to mine except new speakers and an amp but I won't condemn anyone for making their car better.

Thats about as much as I have done so far as well. I too will not condemn anyone for "making their car better" (whatever that may mean) -- funny thing is, neither will Beig!

In many cases mods are an extension of the driver. We do them for almost everything else anyways.
