CF Trunk Question
I recently purchased a CF trunk from a fellow s2ki member and tried to put it on today. When I put the trunk on, the trunk is not flush and there are large gaps near the edges. Since it is CF, is there anything I can do to make it flush?
A bodyshop was suggested, but is there really something they can do? Any help or input will be greatly appreciated.

I have seen very few (maybe one) CF trunks that actually fit well. The gaps you speak of is a pretty common disease of such trunks. I don't really know that there is anything that you can do except perhaps to install extended weather stripping. Even my CF hood has gaps at the sides but at least it follows the line of the fender much better than most trunks I've seen.
I wish that those who make such items learn to make them a bit larger since it seems that when the part cures, it always tends to shrink and sometimes even warp.
