CF v FRP
Might be a stupid question but can someone point me in the right direction as to why CF is worth the extra money on a front lip?
Is it just lighter or is it stronger?

Not a stupid question mate, basicly you'll find CF will be both lighter & stronger than FRP.
you may find the odd CF part that will be heavier but that will be down to the part actually being CF over fibreglass which is CRAP unless its just for show.
Hope that helps

I agree with what Andy said, but if we're talking about a front lip the weight difference is probably negligible, so the comparison is mainly on bling/ bragging rights
The only downside with CF is once it has been scratched/ damaged there's not a lot you can do about it, whereas FRP could be repaired/ resprayed. I would still have CF though

Unless you're actually racing and ounces of weight can be the difference between 1st and 2nd place, CF is mainly for aesthetics and bling-bling.
