Tons of ricers break their FWD Hondas this way. I destroyed the (open) diff in '94 Civic and the 1-3 synchros by shifting that way. A friend of mine has a Honda repair shop, and he always has an Integra or a Prelude with a trashed transmission in for repair. And the broken cars are always riced out and some of them still have their 1/4 times on their windshields from the drag strip.

OT but also relevant, there are way more Integras, Civics and Preludes with blown engines from mis-shifts and overrevs than S2000s.
