I searched, how many quarts of oil should I put in? I bought 5 of synthetic..

5.6 quarts if replacing the oil filter.

 

it can take as little as 5 and as much as 6. only way to tell is to change it and check the oil level.

 

I've found about 5.2 or so.

 

i did 5 and i have more than enough.

check it a couple of days later and then a week later and that's with a filter change also.

 

my helms says 5.3 for refills and 5.9 on a fresh mototr build

On the s2k oil changes I've done (300 +) They take about 5.8 quarts. 6 quarts puts it barely above the top X. I always put 6 in mine.

HOWEVER.....the car sits for over two hrs with the plug out while I'm working on other stuff, and the car slightly up in the rear and tipped to the passenger side.

Many variables to changing oil. Best advice is (if your doing oil and filter) is to put 5 in, run it for 20 seconds, shut it back off and check it.

 

Mine was exactly 5 and I added a little more during the week.
