Default Check engine light came on today

I haven't driven the S in almost 3 weeks because I had surgery and couldn't drive it. Well today started her up for the first time and the engine light came on. This never happened before, I checked all the fluids and all it needed was a qt of oil, I put it in and still the light remained on. I read the manual and it said it could have an emissions problem. I guess I'll bring it in to the dealer to get it checked. Anyone have this happen before? Its an 02.

If you have autozone in your area, they can check the code for free. Hope yours doesn't end up like mine...http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showt...threadid=206689

still waiting for the outcome

It was the engine light. Cool I just checked and it is 36,000miles. I'll try the gas cap thing first, but if not bringing her in to the dealer.

Well today I tightned the gas cap and the light went out. But I'm still going to bring it to honda just to make sure, my warrenty is almost over. I only have 3000 miles to go.
