Like others (I hope), I have forgotten to tighten my gas cap enough clicks, which causes the check engine light to come on.

The guy at the dealer told me the secret handshake for getting it off again, some combination of key turns and pressing the select button, but I can't remember what it was.

Does anyone know?

Be careful if it does not work. My check engine light came on and I called the dealer. I tried the gas cap and reset trick. It did not worlk. The dealer said to bring it in. $815 later, I was told it was "bad gas".
