The problem with a roots charger(and a whipple which tends to be more efficient), is space and fitment. Where they are shown to be mounted now there is NO space to place an aftercooler in. As such it will only be really useful for low boost situations. Additionally you'd have to create a new intake manifold, etc because of how it's mounted. With a LHD model it is questionable if there is enough space to make it work. Interesting but I wouldn't get my hopes up. Comptech investigated a roots blower first before they used the centrifugal but couldn't make it work effectively.

Thats the Ogura roots style SC, BRP just announced that they are going to try and produce one for the USDM F20C its hard to say whether or not they will be able to pull it off though there are alot of things working against them. BUT they have a great track record with Miatas so maybe they can work some magic.

BTW I posted that picture on the site and the video is of a stock S2k. There is another thread about this on page 1 or 2 of this forum.

i read a post somewhere. it said that video was the base run for the S. it didn't even have the supercharger on it. its just something that i have read.
