Has anyone else notice an abrupt drop in gas milage. For some reason, I'm getting about 25 miles less per tank full from about 1 Jan. Has anyone else?

Check to see whether the station has switched to gasohol....a gas and alchohol blend.

I use Chevron all the time, and probably get it at the same gas station you do. I usually don't bother checking the gas mileage, but maybe I should now.

I use Chevron 92 in both my S2K and my Prelude. I haven't noticed any significant change in my gas mileage. I just filled up not too long ago, and I still notvie about the same mileage.

I guess you thought from my post that I got my Chevron gas in your area.......that's a long way to go for me - I meant in S2WOOOW's area (Pardee Plaza, Camarillo)!

I'll be checking my mileage very closely over the next few fillups. I guess there's a chance they have ways of ripping people off that we don't know about.

The easiest way to do it is for them to adjust the pumps so that they say they are giving you more then they are. Other good one is to have it give you the 87 no matter which button you push.

i used to be a loyal customer of chevron when i was in vancouver, i can feel the car run a lot smoother. but it doesn't seem to be the case here in san diego. and i do get better gas milage if i fill up in mobil. not sure if it is becuz mobil's gas pump actually put more gas in the tank or it is actually the gas, but i feel the car pull stronger tho...
