After having on my car for about three weeks, I noticed (when we took off the fron bumper to install the clear corner headlamps) that the epoxy paint on the McCune front grill (http://www.hondas2000accessories.com/) was starting to chip badly (I have the black). What appeared to be a yellowish undercoat was revealed, and it wasn't very pretty.

The solution was simple. I detached the grille, cleaned it thoroughly, and recoated the whole thing with a black vinyl spray paint, which provides a far less chip-prone coating. The paint is sold at Home Depot under the Painter's Choice brand name. I had use it on Dennis's grille before with great results.
