chrome gas lid

Default chrome gas lid

I had a retro gas lid on my miata .Now that the miata is behind me is there a aftermarket lid that is available for a s2000 03 ?
It was chrome and worked with the remote cabin opener .
anyone no anything

yea...i know that if you plan to race...dont get chrome...its heavy as hell...if your car is for show...don't get chrome...get gunmetal...if ur car is silver...gunmetal compliments it nicely..same with yellow and red...blue...nothing really compliments blue that well...and with black...well the chrome stands out too much and gunmetal you cant really see...so stick with the stock cap

Chrome is not for the S2000. It should be reserved for names such as Bentley, Mercedes, and Lexus... and Acura, to a certain extent.

The S2000's image is that of a purist sports car, and chrome (or anything blingin) simply does not match.

You probably are talking about the door. I had a miata and I know the lid you're referring to. It looks great on that car, but I don't think it's right for the S. Gunmetal sounds cool though -- how do you get that done, or where can you buy it from??

My buddy has a sparco polished version and it started to rust after 6mo...
