Default Cilajet

Hello,

I found out that my local honda dealer has Cilajet, and I was wondering if anyone has it done to their S? How do you like it and how much did you pay? I can get it done for $~200. I heard if you have this on your car than you will never have to wax it again.

Danger.

Do nooooot fall for their pre-finalization of sale schemes. You're all hopped up on your new car and love it like it's your child. They take this opportunity to sell you crap that has nothing to do with anything. Each dealer has their version of this miracle spray. Mine was called Zaino, and I fell for it! I also go the OEM alarm, Zaino in the interior, and lo-jack. I could've gotten all of those for 30%-50% of the dealership's price elsewhere.

^ So, how do you like Zaino? Is it the same thing as Cilajet?

My main question is: does it work?

No. Honestly, how could you not have heard or read about a miracle sealant that allows all paint jobs to not require waxing (which means it'll always have the spanking new shine)? It just doesn't exist. I figured that out after I left the lot with my brand spanking new Zainoed S2000.

Zaino is a wax/sealant that stays on for 2-3 months max...it sounds like cilajet is a permanent sealant. I also don't think the OP is falling for some finalization schemes....I believe he was simply inquiring about cilajet.

I agree though, you'll find more info in the wax & wash forum....at least about Zaino.

Yeah... I just want to know more of this product. Cilajet is a spray that stays on the car for ~ 10 years or so. You also have a 10 year warranty. So does anyone have this done to their S.

The reviews on other forums all seem positive:

Though they could be shills for the company
