Default Cleaning Tips for the new S2K Owner?

Questions I have include: btw, black int. & black ragtop

- Keeping the ragtop clean (and preventatively protected)...what should be in "my bucket"?...brush? rag? (bleh!)...cleansing products?
- Cleaning product(s) for the rear windshield
- Dash doesn't strike me as something that would like Armor-all type product...what keeps it clean

Side-question...too tight financially for the moment what with purchasing the car itself...but I'd rather like to get a nice fitting protective front bra (black) in the near future. Any suggestions???

Stay away from the bra. I had one on a dark blue accord and the paint cracked under it. Probally from the hot sun here in the South.
Get some Zaino. Look in the Wash and Wax forum for all the info on keeping your new S like new.
Welcome to this GREAT board!!!

I like "303 Aerospace Protectant" for my interior and tires. It's a UV-protecting cleaner/polisher/conditioner for vinyl, plastic, and rubber compounds. It leaves a nice, rich, "satin" finish (i.e. NOT glossy). I haven't used it on the vinyl soft top yet, but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt-- I've simply found that regular auto shampoo and a brush is sufficient for the top. It's also a good product to use AFTER Plexus on the plastic rear windows, to prevent yellowing and crazing.

I use Ragtop products on my top. The cleaner works fine and the
sealer is the best. When it rains the water beads on the top like
little silver drops. There is a thread somewhere here on Ragtop
products..

I just wash the top when I'm washing the car and treat it with Meguiar #40 Vinyl Cleaner/Conditioner or Lexol Vinylex every 6 months.

For the rear window, I use Plexus for everyday type cleaning. I use the Meguiar's window treatment if I need to get some scratched out, or if the window is too dirty for Plexus to work.
