Clear Bra pricing
I did a search and it seems like a lot of people have had this done for ~$500, but the guy from X-Pel quoted me ~$900 installed.
Are the prices they initially quote you negotiable? Should I be able to get it done for less than $900 here in Dallas? I'd sure hate to piss away $400.

Here in Florida that is the Tampa area the price verys from $350 to $600 so I belive you can do better than $900 in TX. there is a few COs. that make the film now 3M, Lumar, Clear shield. Shop around some more you can do better
Yeah, I paid around $500 for mine, and my guy does the local Ferrari dealer. I've had Llumar in the past and have the 3M now (I think xpel is a 3m product, not sure though). Avery also started making a film that looks really nice. If you have a black or white car, go with the Llumar, if not, then 3M is a less expensive product.
Either way, $900 is a ripoff.

S2Crazy, the Xpel kits should use 3M Scotchcal material which IMO is the best. You can verify by looking at the backer material, it has 3M logos printed on it.
The skills and ability of the installer makes a huge difference. Hopefully your guy is good, the installer we have here in Atlanta is one of the best. If you have any questions about your install give Dave a call at www.speedfilm.net. He recently spent about 4 hours replacing the Invincishield kit with the Expel kit. The die cut pattern of the Invincishield kit had a few nasty looking seam lines that over time didn't look very good. Dave really took care of me and now my front looks like new again and you can't see the film from 2 feet away.
I bet I've got one of the only 2002's with 34k miles and not one rock chip on the nose of the car, this stuff is great! You won't be sorry.
