Clear Bras
Has anyone done business with these guys before?

Was looking into having this done and what to make sure, if possible, that I'm using the right stuff.

Well, I have an Xpel kit. The install was okay, not great, not poor. Plus I over paid a little. But I can rationalize it because I'd much rather have one than not. It's saved my front end and hood from many rock chips and debris damage. After almost two years now, I think I'm going to have it replaced because I want the OEM front lip (AP2). If you're anything like me (anal about keeping your car in great shape) then you should get one. Just shop around for a good price and good installer.
Are there other compnies that use 3m products or is this the only one. I've found one Xpel authorized/trained installer but that's it and he's asking naerly 600.00 for the job.
I went with a place that didn't use a kit. They custom cut the film on the car, and did an awesome job using 3M film. Got the whole front end done, plus mirrors, plus window tint for around $550 if I remember correctly.

So the pricing seems to be in order...I know if I don't get the stuff we're gonna wind up getting rock chips for sure. I guess I just need to go ahead and do it and be done with it.
My wife and I have had 3M/Xpel installed on our last four cars. While it isn't cheap, and the skill of the installers hasn't been consistent... it is worth every penny.
$600 for the install isn't great, I think I've heard of them going for around $500. On the other hand, I paid $650 for an "extended" kit that covers higher up on the hood, headlights, mirrors. It was also important that the installer had considerable experience, and he gave us a good price break when Xpel'ing our truck a few weeks later.
I drive over 100 miles a day on the freeway to/from work, so Xpel has really saved the front end and mirrors of my S2K from numerous rock chips. After the first few front-end chips on my Z3 I really regretted not having the clear bra installed.
XPel is highly recommended.
