Default Clear Corner Silvered!

hmm Guys I was readin Rick's thread reguarding painting the amber bulb inside the side marker silver with paint. and I was also doing some planning on getting my corners clearned. So I thought of an idea, would it work if we were to spray paint the orange piece silver instead of taking it out? So from the out side it looks silver. thus we avoided both the cheap look that some of you guys have mentioned after taking out the orange piece.

Just a thought would anyone know if that would work? hmmm : )

Umm... one word.. G H E T T O. Think about it, part of what makes the clear look good is that it is.. well, CLEAR. If you go applying silver colored decals, or paint that orange piece silver, it will lose the translucent (clear) look, only to be replaced by a somewhat dull silver paint/sticker.

If you thought it looked "cheap" without the lense, just imagine how much more ghetto rigged it would look with a painted lense.

Either clear it with no lense, or spend the $$$ to install the Euro/JDM headlamps.

After previous experiences, one should never spray any part of their cars. Then it just begins to get cheap. I remember spraying grills, light bulbs, my interior, etc etc etc. This was on my old Accord though. You don't want to mess anything up.

You can't. The orange corners are a solid orange piece. You really need to take them out...
