Default clear headlights question

I just got my ap1 s2k and I wanted to put the clear diffusers in from ricks but I've seen people just take the diffusers out all together to get the clear look. What do you guys think does this look good. Has anyone done this. I have the crome bulbs so orange wont show.

Just to make sure you have plenty of time and don't rush... you might break something. Also, Rick's directions are pretty good and I advise to follow them. To insure you don't get any of that unwanted condensation, after you have reglued and resealed, put the headlights back in the oven for a couple of minutes with the bulbs out, then remove them and immediatly put you bulbs back in, this should help to drive out the water vapor that has possible gotten inside the housing while it was open.

I agree it is cheap, but I also believe it balances the headlights out, the running and turn signals match the high beam reflector with the diffuser removed.

adomdom, PM'ed you on the side emblems.

I still need to get some chrome bulbs, but the orange bulbs still look much better than stock IMHO.

That last pic looks like you destroyed your front end by slamming into that parking block! (I know its not the case, but looks funny! ) I will be doing this in the next few weeks, as my drivers side turn signal is beginning to fog. Good reason to rip the front bumper off!
