so are clear headlights in south cali legal?

They also have to have orange side reflectors to be kind of legal.
To be fully legal they need to have D.O.T. approved and stamped orange reflectors

hmm then the JDM Black housing headlight with clear corner is not legal in south cali?

This might help a bit. Under the lighting section, it states that sidemarkers must be amber in the front and red in the rear. Is that stating that your side markers on the front fender needs to be stock amber or is there another meaning to sidemarkers?
