Default Clear Intake Cover?

I thought about buying a spoon filter yesterday and thought how cool would it be to make a clear intake cover. It would be made with the same material as the clear cam gear covers that i saw on an EVO the other day so it can withstand engine heat. Right now I have an 06 s2000 and nothing is really carb legal yet. The AEM, INJEN, and all JDM intakes all need to be taken off before taken to the state referee( i got a fix it ticket for an intake BTW). So i took the initiative to call around get some quotes. It seems to me that if there are enough interest in this I can have them make the sample mold. I am thinking about get 30 of them at first.

I just wanted to see who might be interested in this product. Any comments and opinions would be helpful.

Not to be an ass, but all you will see if the leaves and dirt that make it in there. A carbon fibre cover would be more appealing in my opinion. In the case of the evo, seeing the cam gears is the appeal to that cover.

I don't think you would be able to see anything through all the oil sloshing around if the engine was running.
