Default Clear lenses & license plate frames - WHERE?

Hey, all. Welcome to my first post. Nice to be here. I'm mad at you guys for not telling me how Freakin' cool these cars are; NOW I finally got one!

So, my first modifications will be:

1) upgrade speakers
2) "clear out" my side lenses and possibly front lenses.
3) add a license plate frame to the rear (the dealer forgot to install??)

My questions are: WHERE (specifically) can I get the clear side lenses? I'm tired of rummaging through different site sponsors and coming up empty. I've been told that MG has 'em, but I'm incensed that I have to look at EACH manufacturer (either that, or I'm stupid and haven't found a way to search their site)

Next question: any idea where to get a metal frame w/ glass cover? Or, plastic cover is OK if it looks slick.

Anyhoo, feedback would be appreciated!!

You can purchase the side marker lenses at MG Racing or Carparts.com. The MG Racing ones are identical to the stock ones, except they are clear and possibly better quality. As for the Carparts.com ones, they are made by APC and are flat I think. The clear headlights can be done in two different formats. One being by purchasing the actual JDM or European spec units for about $850 or getting the euroclear look by taking out the orange lenses of the stock assembly. I wouldn't recommend doing the clearing yourself. You might want to try giving Generation One Motorsports in Anaheim, California. They did my headlights and they are flawless. The number is (714) 817-6904. Anyway, goodluck with everything.

As for the clear license plate covers, you can get them at most auto stores. I have one for the rear and it's by Cruiser. It's plexiglass, which is fine. I don't think you'd want glass, probably crack and shatter. Plus, the metal plate would be rubbing against it.
You can probably find one on the net too. Just be warned that it's probably illegal to have one though. I know that it is in California!

Got a frame from BHMA back in '92 that was very classic, had metal outside, rubber gaskets to keep out crud, glass cover, and torx screws to help protect the plate and sticker from theft. Can't find another one to save my life.
