I'm sure it will be fine many years after the warranty expires. It doesn't come off easily after given a chance to dry but can be peeled off (heat gun makes it easier). There will be some adhesive left on the paint but with a LOT of elbow grease (and adhesive remover) it's not impossible to get off. Insider's may have a better way but I don't know of it. Removing a lot of it would certainly be a royal PITA and I imagine a good polish job would be needed to remove the subsequent swirls from all the rubbing.
As far as wax - treat the bra just like you do the paint.

If you're suggesting that it's very noticeable then you probably saw some of the crap they sell on ebay. Does this "stand out"?

If it's not 3M or Avery then you don't want it.

If you stood right in front of Ravenwerk's car you would see the line. Any more than a few feet away and you can't see it.

BTW Ravenwerk, great shine on your car. Red rules.

Here is another alternative you should check out for installers in your area XPEL.COM. These guys are the biggest players in the industry with probably the largest dealer base across the country and any of there Branded installers use 3M film. Shop around and don't be focused on price, quality first. I charge 600.00 plus in my area for the S price is dependednt on your region or area. If you have the factory front lip spoiler the install is easier for sure. The hardest part on the S is the mirrors, very curved. Avery and 3M are the only two clear coated or top caoted films out there right now and I recommend either of these films both are great. If you have more questions I am happy to answer.

I have no input on Clearshield, I don't know anything about them. Whom ever you use ask questions, whats there warranty what it covers and what it doesn't, do they use precut kits or do they hand cut kits. If they are hand cutting kits run as fast as you can you do not want anyone using a blade on your car to install a clear bra. More important how long have they been doing it and see if you can see some of there work.

I had a customer come to me yesterday with a brand new C6 to get my opinion on her installation from someone else who she is taking to small claims. The kit peeled on one corner two days after installing it and the guy won't redo the car it has scratches in the film and it has been hand cut on the car when I told here that she was very upset nowing she could have cut marks in the paint and to top it of it was one of the worst installs I have ever seen. So don't be to worried about price be worried about quality of work and what happens after the sale. This product is worth every penny if it is done right and you have someone who stands behind there work and isn't a sorry ass.

I have an '06 Rio. The installer that put the 3M film on mine actually covered 24" of the hood and front fenders rather than just 18".

The hood line is visible if you look for it, but at any distance at all, you can't find it. When you do find it, the line on the fenders and hood blend together in a graceful curve that looks nicely planned and not just some straight line where the plastic ends.

As most of the others above have stated, I'll never have another new car without it.
