clear side marker install
Well i bought some cheapo clear side markers today and i put them on... like someone else in this forum they had the crappiest fit in the world. They are really loose, do you guys have remedies to make the dang things fit well?

Try a little bit of race tape (aka: gaffa tape). Put it on the sides of the indicators.
What brand are your clears and how much did you pay? I got my APC ones (Sonar branded) from Carparts.com for $21.35 shipped and they work and fit perfectly.
Hope this helps,

I think I got the sonar's like Sime. They didn't fit well, so I bent them a little (tried to straighten them out a little bit) but after hearing of so many people break them, I just quit and left them on. It's been a little more than a month now and mine have "adjusted" to the car. It seems they are more snug now.
I was ever so careful when I had to bend my clips a little bit. They didn't break and the indicators fit perfectly. I did have to flip them upside down though - so the one that is marked with a left is on the right, and vice versa. The piece that pushes under the panel wouldn't fit the other way.
Anyway, as the indivators are flat, you can't tell that they look any different!
Maybe this has something to do with RHD cars with the 'R' and 'L' orientation having something to do with the orientation of the steering wheel?
Go figure!
PS. Guess APC/Sonar's quality control is so bad that they get massive variations in finish quality and fitment issues as we have seen here.
