I like the combo of genuine honda units (better quality in IMHO) and the silver coated light bulbs from Ricks. That way you can't see the amber bulb behind the lens when they are not lit.

I own both types with an assortment of bulbs.

thats some crazy stuff. I have an EP3 as well and bought amber sides b/c they come with clear. I bet that if ours would come with clear ones here USDM and Amber JDM... we would all go out of minds trying to change them....

I must say, I bought a set from Ricks and one fogged up real bad. They sent me another set, no charge, but it leaked too! The passenger side is fine, but both driver's side units leaked. I even greased the o-ring to make sure it was sealing, but no luck. The tabs broke the first time I removed it too, after having it installed for about two months. I was able to blow air through the hole where the bulb goes, so it seems they aren't sealed. Living in the Pacific Northwest, this just wont cut it. I ordered some JDM ones and am awaiting their arrival.

Once again, props to Ricks, they replaced them free of charge, but I didn't want to mess with them any more, so I ordered the JDM. I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything from Ricks in the future FWIW.

Same story here. Finally went with JDM. Unfortunately, I had to buy the bulbs seperately and they aren't nearly as bright as the bulbs you get from Rick's.

But, I can't complain about Rick's. They refunded my money--no questions asked.

I've got the bulbs from Ricks (I'm not going to bother trying to get a refund) so I'll use them with the JDM clears.

Got my JDM's today. Bought off Ebay, shipped from Japan and in original Honda packaging for $29.99 plus a little for shipping. They arrived about a week after ordering them, pretty good I'd say! I don't know why I bought the ones from Rick's in the first place. I think at the time all the JDM ones were close to $50, I can't remember honestly.
