Default Clear side markers

I wanted to know if any one had experience installing JDM clear side markers and what is the best way to get them out and put the new ones in.

Oh good lord. I've been here just a few months, don't even own an S, and I know this topic is well covered. Use the search function people.

Simple, simple.

Take the tip of a knife, flat along the car and slide it under the front part of the sidemarker. Put a piece of tape along the side that contacts the paint, if your afraid of scratches. Not too much or the blade will be too thick.

The sidemarker itself has a little play to it, as it clips into a slot. Push the marker toward the front of the car, giving you a little more play to get the knife between safely from the "S2000" fender badge side. Just a little tension holding it, so no need to strain.

Disconnect the wiring harness by pulling the harness, not the wires - as they like to come out sometimes.

Click the new ones in and go. Remember the tapered part of the sidemarker faces rearward.

Make sure you switch to amber bulbs to satisfy the authorities.

This write-up actually took longer to type than to switch the side markers. Hehehehe.

Also true, depending on how much play you have.

I think me and Hockey agree that it is a super simple task.

I used dental floss to catch the tabs. Just use the dental floss to slide under the light and catch tab. Works great only took five minutes to change out.

Funny...I use floss more on my car than my teeth...maybe that is why I have been spending soooo much time at the Dentist lately!
