Default Clear or Smoked side markers on Black?

I'm thinking of switching my orange side markers out with the MG Racing ones... They have clear and smoked... any opinions on what would look best on a Black/Black s2k?

I painted mine black, so they look very similar to the smoked ones. If I weren't on ghetto-budget at the moment, I'd buy the clear ones - They look good against the black, just have a gander at a black Jetta (tip - to find a black jetta in LA, walk out front door, look left, and count to 3).

Smoked on black is the only way to go....it looks sharp! Saw one in Michigan (corner of Lovell and Rose in Kalamazoo), anybody here?

I got the smoked markers for my black/black. They look great. Sorry, no photo
ability at this time. Maybe Santa will be good to me.

I have the smoked sidemarkers and I do have a pic of it, just not here at work.. But I'll post it later. I think it will look good either way, smoked or clear.
