cleared ap2 headlights with eisenfaust's diffuser
They look great! Only 9/10? Damn. :-p
Thanks for the props. I'm happy with a 9/10 on quality. They're hand made, so there are some tiny flaws. I think 10/10 is possible, its just variation from lens to lens. As you can see the flaws are pretty much invisible on the installed product, though.
Side reflectors do exist, I've got em right here:

I am interested to see how it will look on SSM since the ring around the project is closer to SSM than Sebring. I saw someone custom paint the rings in the tail lights and the project rings Rio and Jesus it was aweful....
Im kind of intimidated by the whole baking my headlights thing... I really want to do it but I dont want it to be more trouble than its worth.

If you want, I can make the rings around the turn signal lenses any color you want for a few extra bucks. I'd reccomend something silver, either lighter (like aluminum) or darker (like graphite). The stock ring is "magnesium" colored, and thats what the paint color I use is called. Its an almost perfect match.
Open groupbuy will be coming in a few weeks. I've got 8 or 9 orders to fill for early adopters first.
The baking isnt too bad. Its nerve wracking, but its not technically difficult.
MULDER - I agree completely and thought the same thing when I saw the F360, and then the C6. If I owned either of those cars I would painted the housings black, ala a select few F50s and such, and I will do the same with my S2000 - To set it apart.

that's gyrofx's car. we painted his lights like that about 3 yrs ago. agreed, it looks cool and unique.
Hmm, I think that I have done waay to many headlights for the S2k as I can't even see the part of opening up the headlights as difficult. I think the most time consuming part is removing the bumper with the millions of clips/screws/bolts that hold the darn thing on. Then there are the bumper braces underneath the headlights that also need to be removed. Compared to that, opening up the lights and putting them back together is cake!
I used to love it when some of the s2ki members would bring me the lights off the car already, it cut down the time in half..

i have seen cracked lenses, warped plastic housings that wouldn't fit back together, silicon goops inside the light, etc. but yeah, it can be easy, but things can also go very wrong on a considerably expensive part.
