3 foot cone at 1000 feet. All depends on where they are aiming and how far away you are I guess.

The best write-up I've seen is on the installation section of ricks site for the clear diffuser install. http://www.ricks2k.com

Just skip the diffuser install section. Painting the bulbs is rather easy, you just need an orange Sharpie and some silver model paint.

Aftermarket ones don't fit as well. There was a GB a few years back on flat ones used on VWs. Looks great, but they had to be modified.

HOLY SHIT! I got the balls together to buy the damn diffusers. I think $95 for some pieces of plastic is a little too high. Come to find out its $95 each! All I can say is WOW. Do you guys think that is a little high or am I just cheep?

Thanks,
Dave

Are you sure it's $95 each? Rick's website seems to indicate that it's $95 for a set. The higher priced option next to it includes the conversion cost, if you choose to let them do it for you.

EDIT: Yup, in fact I just ordered the JDM diffusers, and it is $95 for a set of two.

Hmmm, If you haven't completed the order, maybe you should try it again. It looks like you may have entered a quantity of 2, when it should only be Quantity=1 for ONE SET.

My confirmation email message says:

Item Subtotal: $95.00
Shipping Cost: $7.75
GRAND TOTAL: $102.75

JDMCL $95.00 1 JDM Clear Diffusers

I figured it out. I guess the page did not load quick enough here at work so I think I clicked more than once. So it doubled it.
