Hi guys i am the new owner of a yellow/blk s2k... i may be one of the youngest owners at the age of 18. I have a few questions regarding the clear side markers and lenses...

1. Where can i get them and how much?
2. Should i be looking for euro clears or jap clears?
3. With either jap or euro clears will i have to do any mods to have them fit correctly?

(BTW, i do not plan on opening my stock lenses and removing the orange myself, i'd rather pay the price for new ones...

Thanks,
Mike

I believe you'll be wanting the Euro spec ones, a set will run you close to $1000.

1)Mgracing and close to $1000

2)Euro ones. Jap is for right hand drive cars only, WILL be a hazard to oncoming cars. Please don't use JDM ones.

3)Direct fit. Got them installed by my mechanic and he did not say any mod is necessary.

S2K-F8(Scott) and I both cleared out our headlights this weekend. You can read more at:

http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...p?threadid=6542

From what I saw, it looks like the HID element is built into the housing. There is a huge warning on it about removing or doing anything with it.

I would imagine that the replacements comes with the housing. At least the inner HID component(bulb).

I guess you could unscrew and re-use the encased circuitry for the HID(screwed to the bottom of the headlight assembly), but I don't see how the actual bulb for it can be re-used.
