clicking noise after driving?

Default clicking noise after driving?

so this is my first manual transmission so im not sure if this is something that all manual transmissions do, but after i drive my car and turn it off i hear this clicking noise...i wanna say it sounds like oil dripping into the sump....is this normal? and am i just being paranoid?

it might be the cat cooling off. it popps sometimes. i would have to hear it

I'm not an expert, but mine does that too...!! the usual clicking and poping...
it's the cat cooling off i think...don't worry.

yup very normal. if you go to the store you can hear it on other cars, which means they just recently got there.

24.....yea i realize i just sounded like a complete dumbass teenager in my question...but ive never owned a car that made noises like this...or maybe all my previous cars made this noise and i never noticed because this is the first car i just sit and stare at with a smile after im done driving

its okay, I was curious about it once too. But it is very normal and happens to any vehicle that's 'driven' If you take it down the block quick, it probably won't make the noise, but after any decent or spirited drive, it most definitely will.
