I have the same sound and mine is not for the TSB that tightens and re-greases the axle nuts. I belive the axles and part of the rear end needs to be taken apart and re-greased and torqued down again. DJ Qube did this and his now works fine. If anyone else has this problem I am working with Tim from Honda of Santa Monica, he is a really nice guy and is willing to work with fixed up s2000's. I am leaving for japan in a couple days but am going to take my S in as soon as I get back. Good luck with whatever your clicking problem might be.

when I back out of my garage in reverse and then start to go forward in 1st, i hear 2 or 3 clicks from the rear end as the tires start spinning. been this way for as long as I can remember. I think it only happens on inclines and when the diff is cold. I think its just something with the nature of out car.

Mine started doing it only under hard launches, but then it started getting worse to the point where it would do it any time I change direction, or even when I take my foot off the gas in 1st and 2nd gears, I would hear it.

I took it to the Honda dealer yesterday and they have supposedly fixed it. I am going to pick up the car later this afternoon to see if that is the end of it.

I thought there were TWO TSB's about this type of problem.

One is about a 'thunk' when going from 1st to Rev, or Rev to 1st. The other is about a click or creaking noise in 1st gear.

I have the 2nd problem, and will have them inspect and do the TSB during my next service.
