I am going to have Clifford AvantGuard 5.1 installed by a reputable (S2KI Vendor) here in Davie, Florida. I am very anal about my car and I am bit concerned about how much of the car has to be ripped apart to have the above alarm installed. So anybody that has gone thru the install, would you please fill me in as to what is involved? I am worried about my baby. Nobody takes care of as I do. I don't want any scratches in the interior.

lol, i hope u realize that like 80% of the interior just pops right off...

Don't worry, they won't have to tear into the entire car. Most everything will be done on the drivers side kinda close to the fuse box.

 

anybody know when the avantguard 5.5x will come out??? ive been waiting for that one for a while now...

 

i think its out. i was at a stereo shop yesterday and saw a clifford. on the box it says 5.0 5x not sure if tats the was ur referring to. cost for it was 550 installed
