Came to a four way stop. The lady in the SUV and I arrived at the same time. Thought she was going straight through as I was so I went ahead, but she was taking a left without turning her damn blinker on. Had to slam on the brakes and of course blew the horn and yelled " turn on your f$cking blinker!"

Had the top down and almost hit a kid who was walking with his friend on his friend's right side around a very sharp right turn. Blew the horn and slammed on my brakes and told the kid to get the hell outta the road and to walk behind his friend instead of side by side. Kid started to back talk so I got outta the car, but he kept walking. Told him "yeah you better keep your bit$th a$$ legs walking." Yes, I know I'm gonna get shot one day. I've been working on my anger issues. Hate when people pass me, but two cars did in one morning(Monday morning) and I stayed calm instead of blowing the horn and speeding up and riding their a$$.

It was a dark and stormy night (). I was driving to a friends house along one of the main roads through my town.
It had been raining, but not long. I was in the left lane, not a ton of traffic, but not empty by any means.
Coming up to an intersection, the light was green and traffic was moving through at normal speed (45mph speed limit).
As I approached the light I saw an odd flash to my right so I looked over to see what it was, only for a second.
Looked forward and the entire line of cars was on their brakes because someone was slowing down IN THE LANE to get into the center lane to turn into a shopping center up ahead.
I slammed on my brakes but it was right when I was crossing the intersection, so I had 1) wet roads and 2) rough pavement with ruts and chopped up potholes and such.

It literally went into slow motion as I realized I wasnt going to stop in time and was going to slam into the car in front of me, glanced over my shoulder to see no traffic in the other lane, yanked the wheel over and gave it gas to wing over to the right lane and cruise by unscathed, and a hell of a lot of adrenaline.
The people in the line probably thought I was some kind of asshole street racer, but oh well. I escaped that one by inches.
Damn man! That's some Fast and Furious stuff right there. Glad you got out safe and did some nice driving. I don't think I could have drove my S like you did. Props man.

I came to a stoplight that had three lanes. Left lane was left turn only. Middle lane was left turn and straight. Right lane was right turn only. I was in the middle lane planning on going straight. Yukon Denali was in the right lane beside me. No one else around. I looked over and noticed the Denali driver was on the phone ( ) and he didn't fill me with confidence, so when the light turned green I held out for a second. He proceeded to turn LEFT from the RIGHT TURN ONLY lane, across TWO other lanes, with no signal and without looking at all, all while still chatting it up with whoever he was with on the phone.

I know he didn't even see me, and I would have blown the horn but our horn is so embarrassing! I've been meaning to get some Hella horns installed and demand some respect!

Well, if I do have a passenger, which is very rare, I keep very calm. I'm on medication anyway for anxiety. Problems usually arise when my anxiety acts up, which means I need to take my pills or I do take my pills and they calm me down so much that I don't care about anything. Either way, it's interesting.

Ride a MC long enough and you to watch for this one. Driver slows and pulls over, but he is really about to make an illegal U-turn across your bow.

Happens more on a country road. Driver is lost, thinks no else is around, so its safe, for some reason doesn't think to check if anyone is BEHIND him before he makes his move.

You learn to go on alert mode and slow down (instead of moving to pass) when you see this going down. What can really get you is you think the guy is pulling over to let you by, so you want to be nice and not make him wait longer than needed, so speed up a bit to get past quicker. Ouch. Remember he is in no hurry if he really is pulling over to let you by. So just slow and pass cautiously in case he's really U-turning.

I always check both ways at green lights before proceeding through intersection. Doesn't matter if I'm taking off through a fresh green or cruising through a long stale one.

Yesterday it saved me. Light goes green, long line of rush hour cars behind me trying to break out of the corporate campus exit, and this huge flatbed tow truck from the left comes barreling through the red at like 60+ mph (his emergency yellows not flashing). Light was long red at that point, as there was a delay before I noticed it was green then got into gear and was ready to go (I'm usually much better at not making people wait for me at lights, but for some reason this one time I wasn't ready).

I was feeling bad about making everyone wait so I started to go (really go) as I looked left-right, so had to jamb on brakes to avoid getting hit. Almost got rear ended by the car behind.
