Close, so close, and yet so far
After many months of the Honda dealer having my deposit, and my having career changes cause me to delay when I could take delivery, it looks like I will finally join the ranks of S2000 owners.
No VIN yet, but I have confirmation that I will be able to pick up my silver/red in June.
Now I will have to suffer the final wait. It still doesn't seem real that I will be getting into MY S2000 soon. If June does not seem soon, I've had my deposit on this car since December.... 1999!

WOW, 1999 huh! What do they ship only 1/2 a car per year to Greenland?
Hope it gets here sooner than later. You may be the only one on your "continent?" "island?" to own one, now that's class.
Enjoy and keep us posted.

Actually, I will not be importing this car into Greenland. I am up here with the military, and I would not drive any car (or truck, or SUV, or anything) that I owned here. There is only 20 miles of dirt road, and a few hundred miles of very poorly maintained gravel and rock roads here. I think a S2000 would last about 10 minutes here.
I will be picking up my S2000 in Canada, ending up in Alberta. The MSRP was the standard 48,000, 850 PDI, nothing else.
Looking forward to taking it out for my first drive in the summer.
