Default Clutch Cover

My car is in getting a new (free) clutch due to the clutch buzz TSB. I just got a call from the dealership and they offered to install a new clutch cover and not charge extra labor. They said I had some "hot spots". I turned it down mainly due to the $330 price tag. Should I have said yes?

Just wondering. I've been looking for a dealership that would do this for me down here in Arizona.

This is news for me. I've never heard of a pressure plate being refered to as a clutch cover. Then again, Honda refers to the drive shaft as a propeller shaft.

I heard this term over 15 years ago.
