Default Clutch Engagement Question

My clutch engages/disengages at about 2-3 inches from the top. Is this not normal? Its been like this from day one. I've read several posts saying that other peoples clutches engage/disengage at about 2-5 inches from the floor. Mine is definitely not like this. Should I get it checked out? It grabs fine (for a stock clutch) and the friction zone is small, however only the engadgement/disengadgement point worries me.

My CR is actually pretty low. Just take it back to the dealer and see what they say.

Id say like fully engaged my 3-4 inches off the bottom when lifting your foot.

Warranty is warranty, if they say no, try another dealer

So why's it bad? I measured the clutch engagement point, and its about 75% from the bottom (or 25% from the top)

I haven't measured mine, but why's this a problem?

I've never done a clutch, but my old mechanic offered to set the engagement point wherever I wanted when he did mine. Is it just a cable that needs to be tightened?

Maybe I'm missing something here.

we have a hydrolic clutch. As the clutch wears the engagement point (in my experience with other cars) will move it's way up the pedal untill it just won't engage anymore. Having it that close to the top of the pedal can cause premature wear.
