Default clutch lock?

this guy i know has a lock "thingy" for his clutch for security reasons. it's a red, metal contraption that he locks with a key and when it's locked the clutch can not be pressed down without unlocking it with a key. it is placed directly behind the clutch. does anyone know what im talking about? if so, where can i get one of these and is it worth it? i'd ask the guy, but i dont see him often. thanks guys!

sounds like another good thing to slow down the thieves. anything that can slow them down is good. Matched with an alarm, club, and immobilizer, it will take them a long time to undo all those things unless they have a flatbed

There's a similar thing marketed over here as a 'Krooklok'. One end hooks through the steering wheel and the other end hooks under any of the three pedals with a sliding adjustment section in the middle. It then locks in postion and requires a key to open it. It's not a complete answer (What is? ) but anything which slows down a thief has got to be a good thing. A determined thief with a hacksaw will eventually get it off, but unless he's particularly after your car, he'll tend to look for the easier target everyt time.

When you do this don't forget to lock your steering wheel at one or another end so they will won't be able to put your car on a flat bed or !! ( that's if you park your car nose on a wall or another car ) Sorry for my bad english

Some of these devices on the market are excellent but always have a good alarm and immobiliser also.
