there's a thread ny metro forum that few members have exprienced clutch slip. it looks like honda installed heavier flywheel on those models with clutch delay valve. therefore flywheel won't slow down as much which causes wear on clutch. like above mentioned, have lighter flywheel and new clutch put in.

Does ACT pressure plate make the clutch a lot heavier? Or would it be a marginal difference to your left foot?
OMG yes my left leg is more built then my right leg after going with the act.
Its cool tho i dont mind, If i ever do upgrade i will def go with the competition clutch that kane sells.
I hear its stupid light lol.

Pulling numbers outta my butt:

I believe the whole clutch setup (with pressure and friction plate, etc) and flywheel together would run for about 1.5K before install. Give it another 800 to 1K for install?

ive noticed if you fully engage the clutch when shifting it will slip a little...try engaging the clutch just enough to shift..that should minimize slippage

What you need,is a Mugen PP,with a Clutchmaster stage III.
One of the very best street set-up,for moderatly modded S2K.!!!
And very affordable too.

Im looking to do this removal for MY06 as well.

I'm going to swap in an 03's cylinder. Will it drive like an AP1? My brothers 03 feels great while MY06 doesn't feel as nice while driving normally.
