You gotta ask Harry.. I think he has tried every clutch on the market.

Most of us have just tried two.. the OEM setup which is inadequate, and some aftermarket unit which is better. I have the Star clutch and think is is great (although as noisy as the original).

Which one of the Star clutches. I see they have several "stages" is that just different types of clutches?

Mike.....if you know the service advisor from previous visits, a lot of times they'll go ahead and do it. Maybe JC Honda could handle this.

I had my TSBs done, and I had a new OEM clutch dropped in. So far I'm happy with it. I would like to compare it sometime to a aftermarket clutch though.

The star clutch is great... but there are many alternatives to look at like ACT, Spoon..

I have a Star stage 3 clutch.. it is a bit grabby when cold and does not attempt any noise dampening but it grips better than any I have ever had. IMO Star expertise and products are a step above the others.. they are very experienced with competition clutches and provide race teams with stuff that really works.

I've heard good things about the Star clutches as well. AFAIK, the ACT is a reworked stock pressure plate, but the ACT disc is a different material. However, I think I'd still go w/ the Star product.
